I still have trouble calling myself a photographer. Thank goodness for supportive friends and the people you meet along the way.

My approach to photography has been slow and steady, I want to learn as much as possible and absorb everything I can before I feel comfortable with my own clients. Kind of like ‘Driver’s Ed’…. I’m in ‘Photography Ed.’

These two were the first people I have shot that I did not previously knew. In my day job as a chemist, I have incredible co workers who have become family. One of them, introduced me to her sister, Sara, who is expecting a little bundle of joy in August 2018, and we thought it would be fun to do announcement photos for her and her husband, Bruno.

Sara and Bruno were wonderful. Honestly. Like I couldn't have asked for any more support or fun from this family. I barely even had to pose them, I would snap the photo and Sara would be on to the next pose by herself. There must be something about getting paparazzied on your wedding day that makes you a future professional on how to pose for future photoshoots :)

It was a beautiful day in January (believe it or not). Cleveland had what seemed like THE LONGEST winter ever this year, but we caught this beautiful Sunday at one of the Metroparks and had fun with it.

These two were seriously beautiful, but I don't want to leave out their pup, who basically stole the show on the bridge.

All in all, I want to forever thank this family for their support and trust for this shoot, and CONGRATS TO THE NEKICS on their soon to be baby girl <3
