Amanda&Zack.

I truly don’t know where to start here. I guess the beginning?

I still remember my first day at Oakwood Labs- sitting in the small conference room filling out the standard new hire paperwork. When lunchtime came around, I saw a group of girls walk by outside the window and leave for a walk. I honestly can still picture the exact moment, and my feeling of wanting to join in, and hoping I would fit in soon. I finished up some paperwork and drove to a gas station, bought a protein bar, and sat in the parking lot eating lunch by myself. Fast forward: those girls would become some of my very best friends.

Amanda was one of those girls. Turns out she was new there, too, and we had a lot in common. We began going for runs together, talking the whole time. She is spunky, funny, kind, and exactly the kind of friend you want to have on your team in life. It was inevitable that Adrian and I would soon begin hanging out with her and Zack. And we did. Zack is perfect for Amanda. He is funny, thoughtful, generous, and an awesome friend. Seriously these two will keep you laughing for hours.

Many hangouts (and beers) later Zack texted us inviting us to their proposal. I think I cried (multiple times). Here I was afraid of making friends and I got to be present for one of the best surprises in someone’s life.

Fast forward again: THEIR WEDDING DAY.

It was beautiful. Amanda and Zack wanted a day surrounded by some of their closest family & friends. They wanted everyone to have a good time. They wanted friends to be involved. They wanted good food, and good music, and just to have a good time. And that is exactly what they did.

Friends and family came together all day to help set up. The wedding took place at Liberty Lodge in Hocking Hills, OH, on beautiful rolling hills in the glistening evening sun. The lodge was amazing, and accommodated everyone as they prepared for the big day.

As the ceremony started, I made a point to look around and take that moment in fully, camera aside. It was honestly a beautiful day; we couldn't have asked for better weather. The landscape was beautiful, people had driven hours just to be here with them, and friends had come together to fill certain roles to make this day as intimate and personal as possible. It was such a beautiful day to witness.

Zack and Amanda’s love is so apparent. They had personal vows for each other which brought both laughs and tears. The ceremony was short, and sweet, and totally celebrated everything that Zack & Amanda are. (oh yea, and that officiant is my hubby;) )

The ceremony was followed by some golden hour fun and then the PARTY. I’ll let a few of those photos speak for themselves:)

CONGRATULATIONS TO MR.& MRS. WALSH. MAY YOU LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
